About the position
We are currently seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Specialist of Planning and Controlling to join our dynamic finance or operations team. This role is critical in driving strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis across the business.
You will be part of the Controlling Team, which consists of two dedicated and skilled colleagues, where collaboration and professional sparring are key elements of problem-solving. You will report to the Nordic Head of Controlling.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc financial reports to provide a comprehensive overview of business and financial performance, both locally and for shareholders.
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and mid-term planning processes.
- Continuously develop and implement efficient planning, controlling, and forecasting processes utilizing modern technologies, data warehousing, and robotics.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identify deviations, and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
- Provide strategic guidance and actionable insights to senior management based on financial analysis and performance metrics
About You
We are looking for a responsible professional who works in a structured manner and can maintain an overview even in high-pressure situations. At the same someone who are a team player who collaborates effectively across the organization and with external partners.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and/or controlling roles.
- Previous experience in the insurance sector is strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights.
- A strategic mindset focused on business efficiency and effectiveness.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Proficiency in financial management software (e.g., SAP GT) and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Fluent in Danish and English, as English is the corporate language.
